Three hundred twelve pairs of silk hose, the greater number of which were ladies hosiery, two dozen pair of suspenders, sewing thread, and bias tape were taken from a merchandise car that reached Prineville Tuesday morning. These good coming from Seattle were the only contents of the car.It was not until the car reached the City of Prineville railway station, Tuesday morning, and was opened that the goods were missed. Spools of thread and tape were seen strewn about the car. Outside wrappers were taken but the inside boxes which contained the hose, were left in the car.

There was no doubt the old man had an aura about him.
Maybe it was just the sun shining on the Parisian cafe, or his reputation as a forgotten film auteur and kind of underground celebrity.
Either way, Justin Parkinson, who operates bars and restaurants in Manchester, felt overwhelmed sitting in his presence.
