As a part of the agreement, Greenberg admitted to paying an excess of $70,000, with a credit card belonging to the Tax Collector’s Office, over a two-year period to women, whom he met online, in exchange for sex. One of those women was 17-years-old.
Greenberg will also have to forfeit more than $650,000 in assets that he obtained through illegal measures.
Magistrate Judge Leslie R. Hoffman said his sentence will be handed down likely within the next two to three months.
Since March, federal prosecutors have been investigating whether Gaetz and Greenberg paid underage girls or offered them gifts in exchange for sex. Greenberg s plea makes no mention of Gaetz, who has vehemently denied all allegations of wrongdoing.
In exchange for Greenberg s cooperation in other investigations, prosecutors will agree to drop the other 27 charges against him and ask for reduced sentencing on the six charges. Greenberg still faces several years in prison and will have to register as a sex offender.
He will also have to make restitution to his victims that are part of all 33 charges.
Greenberg signed the document on Wednesday and his initials appear at the bottom of each page.

The plea deal adds pressure to the scandal facing Gaetz. Gaetz is facing a Justice Department investigation over whether he had sex with a 17-year-old and paid for sex with other adult women.
