EPA registration expands uses for AMVAC s Impact herbicide

Gil Gullickson AMVAC, a subsidiary of American Vanguard, announces Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) label changes that expand the use of Impact herbicide.  The EPA has approved users of Impact to apply up to 2 fluid ounces per acre in either single or sequential applications in corn. This expanded use adds control of Texas panicum, field sandbur, and shattercane in tank mixes with atrazine. It also has increased the maximum size for control of yellow foxtail, fall panicum, woolly cupgrass, and broadleaf signalgrass. This registration will allow use of Impact following application of Impact Core and Sinate herbicide – both new for the 2021 growing season – as well as
