BHUBANESWAR: A former PCCF (Wildlife) Ajay Mahapatra is on a mission to improve the green cover of Mayurbhanj’s elephant corridor. Concerned over the depleting greenery, he has roped in three private agencies to launch a massive plantation drive in the district this month.
Mahapatra is guiding three organisations - Life Academy of Vocational Studies (LAVS), Mumbai-based Grow Trees and Impact Guru - to plant 50 lakh trees in the district. The Dhadkan actor took to Instagram and shared a video talking about a little boy called Yuvaan, who suffers from SMA. The video sees Shilpa requesting fans to raise funds as Yuvaan s mother Rupali Ramtekkar, who is in a dire need of funds and has put up an appeal on Impact Guru , a leading crowdfunding platform in India.

Doctors say he needs either Spinraza or Zolgensma, which would cost around Rs 18 crore, making it one of the most expensive treatments, and the injection needs to be administered upon him as soon as possible because of the age limit involved in the treatment.
