Last week Tahoma’s counselors were reconginzed for National School Counseling Week 2021, “School Counselors: All in for All Students,” sponsored by the American School Counselor Association. The week is designed to highlight the unique contributions of school counselors within U.S. school systems and how students are different as a result of what school counselors do.
“Professional School counselors are critical supports on campus that all students can access. Not only do they support career and academic success but most importantly, they are here to support and foster the social-emotional needs of our students,” said Liz Thibert, district Wellness Coordinator. “Their hearts for caring for our students, families, and staff are quite remarkable.
