SRINAGAR, Dec 29: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officer who was injured in a grenade attack last week in Ganderbal district of Central Kashmir died at the Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Sura on Tuesday morning.
A CRPF assistant sub-inspector, who was injured in a grenade attack at Tawhid Chowk in Ganderbal district on the 23rd of this month, died this morning at the Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Sura, police sources said.
The deceased officer has been identified as Natra Pal Singh, who belonged to 115 battalion of CRPF.

SRINAGAR: A Central Reserve Police Force personnel who was critically injured in Ganderbal grenade attack succumbed to his injuries today in a hospital.
A senior Police officer told news agency GNS that one of CRPF trooper who was injured along with other two CRPF troopers succumbed.
On Wednesday, suspected militants had attacked forces with a grenade in Tawheed Chowk area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday.
Ganderbal: At least four CRPF soldiers were injured on Wednesday in a grenade attack by suspected militants in Ganderbal district.
Police officials said that the suspected militants lobbed a grenade towards a CRPF bunker of 115 Battalion at Tawheed Chowk Ganderbal.
They said four CRPF men were injured in the grenade explosion and were shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment.
They were identified as ASI Nitbal Singh, Ct Anand Mal, Manoj Sipahi and HC RN Manojan.
SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal said that the grenade was lobbed from the side of a public park in the area and that three CRPF personnel had suffered minor injuries.

A senior police officer said that three CRPF solidiers received splinter injuries and were shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.
