Tallat Mahmood has joined Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. as a Hospice medical director. In this role, she will work directly with patients and their families receiving hospice services.
Julie Dewey has joined Hospice & Palliative Care as a nurse practitioner who will support the Hospice and the A.I.M. Palliative Care Programs.
Mahmood obtained her medical degree from Aga Khan University Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. Soon thereafter, she completed an internal medicine residency from West Virginia University and a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship from Tulane University. She has worked for the past 20 years in Michigan. Most recently she has been an assistant professor of medicine at Upstate Medical University.
