Firefinch (ASX:FFX) bumps Morila mine estimate to 2.2M gold ounces

Firefinch’s (FFX) latest resource estimate for the Morila mine in Mali has tallied up a further 900,000 ounces of inferred and indicated gold
The latest mineral estimate for the site now stands at 2.2 million ounces of contained gold, compared to just 1.3 million ounces in the previous estimate
The new figures also bumped and the mineral resource grade from 1.2 grams per tonne of gold to 1.6 grams per tonne of gold
The mine first opened in 2000 and has churned out more than 7.5 million ounces of gold in its two decades of production
