African NTD Leadership Initiative: Expanding a Sustainable and Locally Driven Movement to End Neglected Tropical Diseases KIGALI, Rwanda, 28 May 2021 -/African Media Agency(AMA)/- The UK Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) recently announced that it will immediately and almost completely eliminate its funding for neglected tropical disease (NTD) programs globally. Thss decision will negatively affect the lives of more than 100 million people across 22 African countries. Arconic announces new plant manager of Massena Operations

MASSENA — The current human resources manager for Arconic’s Massena Operations has been named the new plant manager. Eowyn Hewey will replace Steve Rombough, who is retiring effective June 1, Arconic Corporation announced in a news release Thursday. Mr. Rombough has been with Arconic since March 31, 1998, beginning as a process engineer. Arconic officials said his career has led him along the management track — potroom and aluminum services superintendent, casthouse manager and manufacturing manager, culminating with his appointment as the plant manager. In addition to his work at Arconic, Mr. Rombough has served on the Board of Directors of the Massena Hospital Foundation.
