She was a timid child. It was hard for her to fight back. She got bullied a lot. The video of Tuesday s incident shows officer Nicholas Reardon exiting his cruiser and approaching a group of people involved in an altercation. Car hits 60-year-old man in wheelchair in Saugus; Extent of injuries unknown, police say Updated 6:23 AM; A 60-year-old man in a wheelchair was struck by a car in a Massachusetts town Thursday morning, authorities said. The man, who is from Revere, was hit by a blue Chrysler 300 sedan around 11:45 a.m. in the area of 1500 Broadway, also known as Route 99, in Saugus, according to a statement from the town’s police chief, Chief Michael Ricciardelli. The extent of the man’s injuries is unknown at this time, Ricciardelli said in his statement Thursday. After investigating the crash, police determined the driver, a 74-year-old Malden woman, didn’t see him when she was entering the road after exiting a parking lot and making a left-hand turn, according to the statement.
