At least four people died Monday night into the early hours of Tuesday in shootings, Philadelphia police said.
One of the deaths occurred in Old City outside a Stephen Starr restaurant called Buddakan.
The city is dealing with an increase in gun violence and murder that other large cities have also experienced during the coronavirus pandemic.

That killing and another in Feltonville Monday pushed the number of murders in Philadelphia to at least 125 in just over three months. That s 29% more than at this point last year, city statistics show.
Also Monday, the number of shootings in the city that didn t end in death continued to grow. Among them: a man was shot at a Chinese restaurant on Ridge Avenue and a woman was shot in the chest at B Street and Indiana Avenue in Kensington.
The Old City slaying happened on Chestnut Street, just a few feet away from popular, high-end restaurants. As the victim walked on the sidewalk with his girlfriend at about 9:30 p.m., a minivan pulled up.
Four men jumped out of the van with semiautomatic weapons, walked up to the man and started shooting. Police have counted at least 27 shell casings, but said there may be more. There was no argument or robbery beforehand.

A deadly shooting in Philadelphia s Old City section is just one of the many incidents under investigation by officers on Monday night.
A 25-year-old man and his girlfriend were walking near 3rd and Chestnut streets around 9:30 p.m. when gunfire rang out, police said.
According to authorities, four men jumped out of a van and unleashed a barrage of bullets near the Science History Institute in the heart of Old City. At least 27 shell casings were fired.
The man was struck in the chest and died at the scene.
