José González announces new album Local Valley José González announces new album Local Valley José González shared El Invento, his first ever Spanish language track, in February. José González will release his first new album in over six years on September 17th. Local Valley was recorded in his own Studio Koltrast Hakefjorden, set up at home north of Gothenburg. El Invento is to open the album, and is on the tracklist along with twelve other songs which include today’s new single Visions. “We are the apes that are starting to understand the universe and our place in it,” González says of it.
