Nielsen names Alicia Olson-Keating as managing director for TAM

Nielsen has announced Alicia Olsen-Keating as its Australian managing director for Television Audience Measurement (TAM).
Formerly a board member of Nmumeris, the IAB and OzTAM, Olsen-Keating has over 30 years experience in the industry across Canada and Australia.
She is replacing Caroline Atford in the role, who is departing Nielsen for personal reasons.

Olsen-Keating brings industry experience across strategy, research, data, analytics and insights, audience measurement and key currency rollouts, and was most recently the head of audience data and insights and the ABC.

The General Store appoints Chris Scott as ECD

Independent creative agency The General Store has announced the appointment of Chris Scott as its new executive creative director.
Scott recently worked in across Europe and in The Netherlands, where he worked with Iris Amsterdam, The Brave New Now, Ogilvy Berlin and WE ARE Pi.
He joins The General Store as its new ECD after working on an extended freelance contract at the agency.

Pilot Week returns to Ten in 2021 after a year off

Network Ten has announced it will bring back its Pilot Week concept for a third time later in 2021, but is yet to reveal an air date.
After the initiative was shelved for 2020, Pilot Week will return later this year, and Ten’s parent ViacomCBS said it is looking to give local storytellers the opportunity to present “bold and diverse” programs for a prime-time audience.
Trial By Kyle was commissioned after a successful run in Pilot Week
Pilot Week was held in 2018 and 2019, with Ten showcasing a whole slate of new shows to test viewer responses and ratings.
Carat Brisbane anounces new head of client partnerships

Dentsu Queensland has hired Emily Cook as head of client partnerships for Carat Brisbane, a role that will see the Queensland native return home after years spent working in Sydney and Melbourne.
Cook served as the media lead for the Vodafone account at Wavemaker Sydney for the past three years, and was previously client lead on the Group M agency’s Nestlé account.
She also spent time at MediaCom and Media Merchants in Brisbane, working across senior buying and planning, as well as content roles. Mumbrella understands that Cook’s role will be replaced shortly.
Active International names Sarah Keith as group MD as Cameron Swan moves to UK

Involved Media’s managing director Sarah Keith is set to become group managing director of Active International Australia and Involved Media as part of a company restructure.
Current managing director Cameron Swan will depart the country to head to London to become managing director of Active International UK, where he will report to Active International CEO Dean Wilson.
