Pioneering record producer Ethel Gabriel gets her due in forthcoming documentary

She was 91 years old then, but she remembered. “How could I forget Elvis?” she said. “I made him famous.” That was eight years ago, before dementia swept away so many memories of Elvis Presley and of the estimated 2,500-plus albums that she produced over the course of her career in the recording industry. Triphammer Road storm sewer project continuing through end of April | 870 AM 97 7FM News Talk WHCU

6 hours ago in Local Photo: WHCU ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) Crews are continuing work to replace a storm sewer on Triphammer Road a little longer than first planned. The project, which began earlier this month, replaces the existing drain inlet, pipe, and curb. The new anticipated completion date is April 30th. It had originally been scheduled to wrap up this past Friday. Northbound traffic is still advised to use Thurston Avenue while southbound traffic is encouraged to use White Park Road.
