A 43-year-old man sentenced to 14 years and five months jail for his involvement in planning to import over 500 kilograms of cocaine into Australia via the Solomon Islands in 2018. Two Sydney men were arrested in September 2018. A Belgian-registered, double-masted yacht Vieux Malin was searched at a mooring outside the Honiara marina. A large quantity of cocaine was found concealed within the vessel and seized. The cocaine was loaded onto the vessel in South America and was destined to be imported into Australia. Ward says this is not only for those inside to appreciate the views outside, but also for those passing by to see the “engineering feats and activity within”.
It may sound simple enough to execute, but Ward points out that these larger windows and doors can cause issues with meeting the strict new minimum energy efficiency requirements in the revised National Construction Code (NCC).
“This translates to lower Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) and lower U-Values in the glazing,” he says.

The NSW government will push ahead with a $2.5 billion motorway tunnel between Kogarah and Arncliffe but doubt remains over a future extension south towards the Sutherland shire.
NSW Transport Minister Andrew Constance on Monday announced the government had signed a $2.52 billion contract for stage one, which involves tunnelling four kilometres between President Avenue in Kogarah to the WestConnex Motorway in Arncliffe.
