A hero Covid nurse took a fatal overdose after falling into a downward spiral when she was forced to call off weddings because of the pandemic and doctors diagnosed her with an incurable back condition, an inquest heard.  Trisha Roberts, 26, from Bangor in North Wales, dedicated her working life to helping the sick and held the hands of dying coronavirus patients during her final weeks.  But her mental health took a downward spiral while she battled a degenerative back problem, the name of which was not heard at the inquest.  Ms Roberts had an overdose of morphine and left a note reading, Don t be sad, I m happy now.

Trisha Roberts, 26, worked on the frontline at Ysbyty Gwynedd hospital in Bangor, Wales and tragically passed away last Wednesday. 3 3 Trisha was described as bubbly, energetic and enthusiastic by her family, Wales Online reports. He family said she died following a battle with her mental health and struggling with the pressures of the Covid pandemic. Sister Tammy Lou paid an emotional tribute following her death, writing: “Regardless of how many times you met her, she left a lasting impression.
