A designer for 30 years, Sophie Holt stages her first runway show with Oroton

Share After 30 years designing for some of Australia’s best-known women’s brands, Sophie Holt added a career first on Tuesday – her first runway show. “We are at a great place with the brand, and we are moving into a new phase of international growth,” said Ms Holt, the creative director for Will Vicars’ Oroton, ahead of the show. “This is our third season of international wholesale distribution, which is where we see the future so it’s imperative we do Fashion Week. Little did I realise what a learning curve it would be.” Oroton creative director Sophie Holt backstage ahead of her first runway show.
