Grants for Light at the Inn | News, Sports, Jobs

Apr 15, 2021 The Dickinson Area Community Foundation, along with affiliates Crystal Falls Area Community Foundation and the Norway Area Community Foundation, recently awarded two grants to the rotating homeless shelter Light at the Inn. The agency received $2,000 from the Homeless Prevention Endowment Fund and $653 from the Light at the Inn Agency Endowment Fund, for a total of $2,653. From left are the Rev. Mini-grant for Florence flowers | News, Sports, Jobs

Jan 30, 2021 The Dickinson Area Community Foundation has awarded a $250 mini-grant to Florence County Chamber of Commerce and the town of Florence. The grant will assist in funding 20 metal flower baskets that will be attached to utility and light poles in the downtown area of Florence, Wis. IRON MOUNTAIN Six siblings and their families have adapted their holiday celebrations to benefit programs in three area school districts. The Petschar siblings Dana Colenso, Denise Larson, Dean Petschar, Darla Olson, Lynn Gussert and Darren Petschar, along with their spouses, children and grandchildren in 2014 switched from exchanging gifts to having a fun-filled evening that generates money for those in need, with the theme of “Share Your Christmas.”
