Bellevue Detectives Arrest 2, Recover Car In ID Theft Bust

UpdatedThu, Apr 29, 2021 at 1:26 pm PT Reply (Bellevue Police Department) BELLEVUE, WA Two men from Detroit together face a dozen felony charges in King County after prosecutors said the pair used stolen identification to open credit lines and make expensive purchases around Puget Sound. In charging documents released Thursday, the King County Prosecuting Attorney s Office accused Brian Perry, 25, and Patrick Dennis, Jr., 27, in a largescale identify theft operation. Prosecutors named Perry in all 12 charges, with nine residents and three local companies identified as victims. Prosecutors said Dennis participated in at least four of the crimes. According to Bellevue police, both men flew into Seattle on the week of April 19 and quickly got to work using stolen identities to open credit lines. Detectives said successful purchases included a $64,000 Dodge Challenger, bought from Northwest Motorsports in Lynnwood, a $6,400 gold bracelet, and a variety of pricy items from two shop

Free masks at Ford dealerships Tuesday The Repository On Tuesday, dealerships Liberty Ford in Canton, Sarchione Ford in Waynesburg and AutoNation Ford in North Canton will be participating in Ford Motor Company s #FinishStrong initiative to help distribute more than 1 million face masks to Ohioans. Residents are invited to stop by to pick up 20 free disposable face masks from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. while supplies last.  The Mask Donation Day is part of Ford’s #FinishStrong initiative – a public call to action encouraging Americans to pull together, protect each other and help save lives in the months ahead until COVID-19 vaccines become more widely available. 

Panama City Police charge man for auto dealership burglaries

PANAMA CITY Panama City Police officers have arrested a Dothan man for allegedly committing burglaries at various auto dealerships. According to a Police Department press release, Colby Knight, 33 of Dothan was charged with six counts of burglary, possession of burglary tools, one count of grand theft and seven counts of petit theft. The press release states that Knight was arrested at AutoNation Ford in Panama City on Christmas Day. The department had been investigating several burglaries committed at other auto dealerships in the city during December. Probable cause was established after Knight’s arrest to charge him with additional counts of burglary and theft, the press release states.
