The deceased was identified as Tanisha Akter, daughter of Khaza Sheikh, a police constable. The incident happened when the child, who used to live with her maternal grandfather after her mother Taslima Begum got divorced from Khaza a month ago, went to visit her father a couple of days ago. Locals and police said Khaza recently married Tithi Akter Mukta who could not accept Tanisha s visit to the house.
