KKRDB allocates ₹100 crore to combat COVID-19 in six districts

Addressing a press conference in Kalaburagi on Friday, Mr. Revoor said that KKRDB has released funds for purchasing oxygen generation plant, oxygen concentrator, nine ambulances, ECG machines, ICU beds, ICU ventilators, bulk oxygen generator and cylinders for government hospitals in Bidar, Kalaburagi, Yadgir, Raichur, Ballari and Koppal districts.

Chairing a meeting to review the COVID-19 situation in Bidar on Wednesday, Mr. Revoor said that the KKRDB will release funds for purchasing two oxygen containers one for Bidar, Kalaburagi and Yadgir districts and the other for Raichur, Ballari and Koppal districts. The tender process has been initiated and 50% of the amount for purchasing oxygen containers has been released to the saving accounts of the Deputy Commissioners office, Mr. Revoor said.

We have, therefore, included Kalaburagi in the list of places where we are going to build heliports,” Mr. Yogeshwar said during his interaction with mediapersons at the district administrative complex in Kalaburagi on Tuesday.
