So far this spring, Cal DFW says that only 36 Coho Salmon, age 1+, have been trapped before exiting the Shasta River Basin. Over at Scoot River, Cal DFW says that it has trapped only 21 Coho Salmon, age 0+, and three Coho Salmon age 1+.

Climate change impacts are affecting water availability and are exacerbating the damages floods and drought cause worldwide.
