Lucky s Stout House, an Irish-inspired bar south of Ohio State University, will close its doors on July 17, to make way for an apartment complex. The bar, at 1475 N. High St., across from E. 8th Avenue, announced the closure Wednesday night on Twitter. Although our time together has been cut short, we look forward to spending as much of the next ten days together as possible, the tweet announcement read. We hope to see you, our patrons, our friends, here during our last couple days to give this great institution an appropriate send off. Lucky s is closing to make way for a six-story apartment building proposed in February that will also occupy the site of the former Cousin s Army-Navy store and two W. 8th Avenue apartment buildings. The University Impact District Review Board approved the complex at its June 24 meeting.
