Ramble Book isnât your typical comedianâs memoir. Was that your intention?
For most comedians, a book is a goof. You turn in old receipts, throw together some lists and diary entries, write down a few things you said to the postman, then go âThere you go, thatâs my book.â I wanted to do something a little bit more substantial. My editor kept pushing me to be more heartfelt, to write about my dad dying and not feel like I had to be funny the whole time. It came alive when I was honest and wrote from the heart. But mainly Iâm impressed that I actually finished it. Everything I do tends to be bitty and ad hoc. Iâm not good at major projects.
The Sink is not the kind of podcast that will have you guffawing immediately – in fact, you may be confused by this parody of sleep-inducing meditation shows. But once you get acclimated to its surreal conceit – the process of dredging up “what’s stuck in your tubes” and remedying the “bad smell” in your brain – Natasha Hodgson’s comedy-horror show is full of brilliantly unsettling laughs.

A study by OLBG that looked into the UK’s sporting listening habits in January 2021 revealed that Clyde 1 Superscoreboard was the third most listened to sports show across the UK.
The show, which airs weeknights from 6-8pm and Saturday afternoons, updates listeners on the biggest match action and gives Scottish football fans the chance to have their say on air.
Superscoreboard was also one of the top 3 most searched Sports Podcasts in the UK last month, even beating the NHS Couch to 5K and That Peter Crouch Podcast. With 13,000 Google searches in January, it was only beat by Test Match Special and Athletic Mince which both gained over 20,000 searches.
