June gold contracts were trading lower by 0.05 per cent at Rs 48,204 for 10 grams during the opening hours of Thursday on the multi commodity exchange (MCX). May silver futures were trading 0.03 per cent lower at Rs 70,316 a kg. Gold and silver had showed robust growth on Wednesday in international markets. Gold hit a two-months high and silver also hit one-month high on the Comex division. Meanwhile India Gold MCX June futures were trading flat on Thursday, tracking a dim trend seen in the international spot prices.

Gold rates today in India hiked by Rs 220 to Rs 45,200 from Rs 44,980 per 10 gm for 22 carats. While Silver prices are trading at Rs 66,660, where it has hiked Rs 360 per kg. In Hyderabad, the gold price fell by Rs 700 to Rs 44,850 for 22-carat from Rs 44,150 for 10 grams, in Chennai gold rate 22 Carat is Rs 45,060 and 24 Carat is Rs 49,160.

Gold Price In India: Domestic gold futures witnessed a volatile trading session on Tuesday, April 20, amid rupee appreciation earlier in the day. On Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) gold futures, due for a June 4 delivery, were last seen trading higher by Rs 140 - or 0.3 per cent - at Rs 47,533, having swung between Rs 47,128 and Rs 47,594 during the session so far, compared to their previous close of Rs 47,393. Silver futures for a May 5 delivery were last up 0.81 per cent at Rs 68,875. Some experts believe that good prices may rise in the upcoming sessions if the same pattern continues. (
Some experts predict that domestic gold prices could hover in the range of Rs 46,850- 47,450. Domestic spot gold closed at Rs 47,169 per 10 grams on Friday, and silver at Rs 68,810 per kilogram - both rates excluding GST, according to Mumbai-based industry body India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA).
