Gold, Silver Price Today, 4 June 2021: On Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures due for a June 4 delivery, were last seen trading lower by Rs 390- or 0.8 per cent - at Rs 48,600
Domestic spot gold closed at Rs 49,195 per 10 grams on Wednesday, and silver at Rs 71,866 per kilogram - both rates excluding GST, according to Mumbai-based industry body India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA).

“The yellow metal has continued to show strength and the safe-haven demand will remain intact in general. While, DXY is struggling to extend recovery moves. MCX gold has hit the higher end of the range around 49000, further upside is possible only if prices hold on to these areas for few sessions. Else a correction towards 48000/47500 should be seen.
Gold rates today in India hiked by Rs 210 to Rs 45,060 from Rs 44,850 per 10 gm for 22 carats. While Silver prices are trading at Rs 71,000, where it has hiked by Rs 500 per kg. In Hyderabad, the gold price hiked by Rs 250 to Rs 44, 900 for 22-carat from Rs 44,650 for 10 grams, in Chennai gold rate 22 Carat is Rs 45,200 and 24 Carat is Rs 49,310.

Gold rates today in India hiked by Rs 130 to Rs 44,850 from Rs 44,720 per 10 gm for 22 carats. While Silver prices are trading at Rs 70,500, where it has fell by Rs 630 per kg. In Hyderabad, the gold price fell by Rs 50 to Rs 44, 650 for 22-carat from Rs 44,700 for 10 grams, in Chennai gold rate 22 Carat is Rs 44,920 and 24 Carat is Rs 49,000.

What analysts say: MCX Gold June trading with negative momentum in the evening session. Downside support for the metal is 46700. Resistance for the metal is 47,500, said Kshitij Purohit, Product Manager, Currency & Commodities, CapitalVia Global Research Limited.
Promoted MCX Silver has showed a negative movement and trade below 70700 levels. Silver markets initially pulled back during the course of the trading session on Tuesday but then turned around to break much higher, added Mr Purohit.
