CAPE TOWN - Communications and Digital Technologies Minister Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams said legal battles over the release of what s called spectrum should be settled out of court.
She told Parliament on Tuesday the litigation was holding back the country’s economic recovery.

The late Bhaca King Madzikane II Thandisizwe Diko never had a chance to defend himself.
This statement was made by Diko’s brother-in-law, Chief Vulisango Phantswa, at the funeral of the young royal who died on 21 February.
Diko died with a cloud of corruption allegations hanging over his head after his company had scored a questionable R125-million tender to provide PPE.

THERE were smiles on the faces of victims of heavy rains in Gxididi outside Mthatha, Eastern Cape.
This as they received early Christmas gifts on Thursday, 17 December from various private companies led by Communications Minister Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams.
Ndabeni-Abrahams surprised the tornado victims with more than 100 blankets and building materials.

Johannesburg - WOMan Radio was a concept Yvonne Chaka Chaka came up with in 2016.
In 2018 she researched various ways to bring the project to life and ended up going the online route after getting encouragement from several people, including Communications Minister Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams.
âData is not cheap in South Africa, but she (Stella) said my reach is beyond South Africa and I thought that was a great idea. We then launched, I got the licence on IOS and Android.â
