WANA (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday reiterated that development of tribal areas is incumbent government’s top priority with special emphasis on the education sector and provision of livelihoods to the people of the areas.
Prime Minister Imran Khan, while addressing a ceremony, announced that 3G and 4G internet service will be allowed in the region from today. He while terming youth the biggest asset of the country, said that apart from giving scholarship to the youth, schools, colleges, universities and technical institutes will be established in the tribal districts.

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Friday passed the KP Ministers’ Salaries, Perks and Privileges (Amendment) Bill, 2021 after a heated debate as the opposition lawmakers complained that the perks and privileges of the ministers were being increased but Members Provincial Assembly (MPAs) were ignored.
The amended act recommended payment of ministers’ utility bills by the departments concerned. The members from the government and opposition exchanged arguments over the passage of the bill.
The treasury benches argued that the bill would help save the public exchequer as ministers’ bills were already paid by the government but now the department concerned would pay the bills to avoid penalty due to delayed payment.

PESHAWAR: Pakistani police have arrested 10 more people in overnight raids for their alleged involvement in the vandalisation of a Hindu temple by a mob led by members of a radical Islamist party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
With the latest arrests, the number of accused arrested in the case has risen to 55. Over 350 people have been named in the FIR after the temple in Terri village in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Karak district was vandalised and set on fire on Wednesday by a mob protesting against its expansion work.
