anniversary of the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development), which was established with the ambitious goal of creating a community of Countries with common values, committed to improving the lives of their citizens and to making the multilateral approach prevail over national divisions.
The world has changed over the last 60 years, but the OECD still plays an important role. Its analyses are highly considered, also in light of the difficult international economic situation and the socio-economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Italy has been part of the OECD since its inception and is the sixth largest contributor to the Organisation s budget. Over the years, our country has assumed a particularly important role as a training hub of the OECD, thanks to three centres based in Italy: the Trento Centre for Local Development, the MENA-OECD Governance Programme Centre of Caserta and the International Academy for Tax Crim
