61 Hospitals Drive Forward through COVID-19 and Go LIVE with MEDITECH Expanse

As the COVID-19 pandemic challenged every aspect of the healthcare system in 2020, momentum for MEDITECH Expanse continued, as 61 hospitals moved forward with their implementation plans and went LIVE with the EHR. These organizations ranged from small critical access hospitals to the largest physician-owned, private, for-profit healthcare network in the U.S.,
Steward Health Care, which brought 18 new hospitals on Expanse.

Thibodeaux named Chief Executive Officer of Beauregard Health System

Traci Thibodeaux has accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer at Beauregard Health System, effective January 1, 2021.
Thibodeaux joined the staff at BHS in June of 2017 as the Vice President of Physician and Support Services, and as a part of a structured succession plan to step into the Chief Executive role upon the retirement of William F. “Bud” Barrow, II. As the VP of Physician and Support services, Thibodeaux’s responsibilities included oversight and operations of Beauregard Physician Group, Laboratory, Radiology, Nutritional Services, Environmental Services and Plant Operations. In April of 2019, Thibodeaux was promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer and assumed the additional responsibility of Nursing Services as another step in the succession plan.
