The board:
Named Haberstroh as legislative liaison;
Received a $41,550 RemotEDx grant to be used for remote online learning training of staff. The local match of $13,850 will be provided by a philanthropy grant;
Approved Doug Hiscox as a consultant for the RemotEDx grant for 15 days at $2,543 and approved Sharon Arkwright, Marc Bjelac and Pam Lubich as curriculum consultants at $150 per day for 54 days for staff training through the grant;
Approved a one-year agreement with Envision EdPlus for grant writing services at cost not to exceed $1,750;
Approved an agreement with EDU Healthcare for an occupational therapy assistant;

NILES The Trumbull County Educational Service Center Governing Board approved new agreements with the center’s teachers, technicians and nonunion classified employees that include pay adjustments for this school year and next.
The board earlier this month approved a memorandum of understanding with the Trumbull County Board of Professional Staff Association, which represents more than 100 teachers, occupational therapists and other staff.
Superintendent Michael Hanshaw said the teachers and employees, many of whom are working in school districts throughout the county, will receive a 1.75 percent pay increase for the 2020-21 year and a 1.25 percent pay increase for the 2021-22 year.
