A shooting in Dover on Friday night is under investigation, city police said. At about 9:51 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Cecil Street for a report of shots fired and found a 44-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his lower leg. The man did not provide any information and became disorderly with officers and responding medics and denied treatment, police said. He was taken to Kent General Hospital, due to his refusal to sign a waiver denying treatment, and continued to act disorderly with officers and hospital staff, police said. The man was charged with disorderly conduct.
