Dover man dies in motorcycle crash
DOVER - A Dover man died at the hospital following an accident late Sunday morning.
A spokesperson at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital confirmed Sunday night Chester Yung, 44, of Dover, who was involved in a crash earlier Sunday, had died.
Dover police said Yung was driving his white 2010 Aprilia RSV4 motorcycle when he was involved in an accident with a gray 2016 Toyota Prius, driven by a 44-year-old woman, at the intersection of Washington and Chestnut streets, just after 11 a.m. The Aprilia collided with the Prius, causing extensive damage to both vehicles, said Chief William Breault. Due to the severity of the collision, bystanders immediately began rendering first aid to Mr. Yung. Dover Fire and Rescue transported him to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
