BURNSVILLE, MN – Former Pierre Governor Tori Thorpe of Northern State women’s soccer was named Wednesday as one of the 2021 recipients of the Myles Brand All-Academic with Distinction Award.
The honor is awarded to NSIC athletes who have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.75, have exhausted their eligibility and are on track to graduate.
Thorpe played in 43 matches from 2017-2019 at NSU, starting 36, and registering two assists.
In Pierre, she started for three seasons, was a team captain as a senior, had 15 goals and nine assists, was a 2016 All-State and Academic All-State honoree and was twice All-ESD.
