During the court hearing, it was revealed the couple originally told first responders they believed the child had choked on water from drinking too much. Later, Austin told police that on the day Victoria was found unresponsive, Ariel allegedly hit the child with a belt. He claims he heard the commotion from outside and told Ariel she had gone too far.

Austin Robinson told authorities that Ariel Robinson would spank and beat Victoria and was often upset by how long it took her to eat, Kednocker-Sustakovitch said during the hearing. Kednocker-Sustakovitch testified that Austin Robinson told authorities that Victoria got it worse than the other children.
The moment you have a child, your life changes. The world becomes small and the problems plaguing other people are insignificant and trivial. All that matters are your kids and the life you can offer them. But when you read of evil impacting other children, you immediately think of your kids and the villainy others engage in becomes yet another reason for insulating them from the horrors of modernity.
The name Cannon Hinnant nearly ended what was started here in May of 2009, because the horror of his murder and the lack of a response by the corporate media were a melancholy reminder white lives don’t matter.

Victoria “Tori” Rose Smith lived a tragically short life. Three years. That’s less than 200 weeks on this earth. She was a girly girl who sported oversized bows in her straw-blonde hair and a megawatt smile on her face. A great-aunt described the blue-eyed baby as “bubbly,” “sassy” and “full of life” despite bouncing around foster homes for much of her brief existence.
Last week, authorities in South Carolina revealed that Tori had perished as result of multiple blunt-force injuries to her tiny head. She was beaten to death. Her adoptive parents, Ariel and Jerry “Austin” Robinson, are now charged with homicide by child abuse. A six-page police incident report describes how first responders rushed to the Robinsons’ home on the afternoon of Jan. 14, 2021, after Mr. Robinson called 911. Little Tori was not breathing. EMTs performed CPR. She was rushed to the hospital, where she died. Investigators immediately suspected child abuse.
