YOUNGSTOWN Luis Figueroa, 54, of East Judson Avenue, pleaded guilty Wednesday to felonious assault and a gun specification saying he committed a drive-by shooting.
His indictment states that he committed the felonious assault Jan. 30, 2020, and that he caused or tried to cause serious physical harm to a woman.
Figueroa was also indicted on one count of menacing by stalking and another gun specification, but Judge Maureen Sweeney agreed to dismiss those charges. Prosecutors offered the elimination of those charges in exchange for Figueroa pleading guilty to felonious assault.
