After allegedly shoplifting from the Berryville Walmart on Saturday night, two Missouri women drove out of the parking lot and down Highway 62. Thats when Berryville police officers initiated a chase that ended in Stone County, Missouri.
Berryville police chief Robert Bartos said Tomi Cowden and Amy Woods allegedly stole a large amount of items and took off from Walmart. When officers tried to initiate a traffic stop, Bartos said, the women kept driving. Bartos said they drove on west on U.S. Highway 62 toward Eureka Springs before turning down a county road.
