Community champion awards launched at Hunstanton

The search is on for individuals and groups from the Hunstanton area who have gone the extra mile for their community during the last unprecedented year.
Launched by the town s mayor, Tony Bishopp, the 2021 Mayor s Community Awards will acknowledge outstanding contribution and commitment and recognise those who have worked selflessly for their fellow residents.
He said: âIt is important that as a council we publicly recognise the valuable work of volunteers, paid workers and community-based organisations across our communities who have worked selflessly throughout the past year, especially more so since the Covid pandemic began, in assisting residents of Hunstantonâ.
