A Manchester police officer is being praised for running into a burning home to get the people inside to evacuate.The chief said Officer Tony Battistelli spotted the flames coming from a home on Lowell Street on Thursday morning.The officer called it in and with the help of a sheriff s deputy and a bystander, got two people out safely.The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
