The South African National Civic Organisation wants the high court in Makhanda to bar new political party Independent SA National Civic Organisation (Isanco) from using the name.
The Sanco provincial executive committee filed a notice of motion on Monday and is seeking an order from the court that the acronym, Isanco, be declared unlawful and invalid.
