The Toyota bZ4X Concept debuts in North America as the company shares its vision for a global series of battery-electric vehicles.
More information on the production model of the Toyota bZ4X will be shared later this year, with sales planning to begin in 2022.

TORONTO: A sticking accelerator pedal on eight of its models has prompted Toyota Canada Inc. to shut down production at several plants and instruct its dealers to temporarily suspend sales.
The recall affecting approximately 270,000 vehicles in Canada (and almost 3.4 million in the US) will also result in a halt to production for the week of Feb. 1 on seven North American production lines, including Toyota’s operations in Cambridge, Ont. and Woodstock where Corollas, the Matrix and RAV4 are made.

The company employs about 5,900 people at the two Canadian plants.
