Pensacola State College dedicated its new cybersecurity center Tuesday, which includes four classrooms and a cyber warfare range for students.
The center is in the college s new $15 million Baars Technology Building, which opened last month. PSC cybersecurity educators say the new center will help accommodate the program s growth over the last few years. This facility is very timely because we were stretched very thin, said Kirk Bradley, dean of baccalaureate students and academic support.
The college s cybersecurity associate degree program has grown from about 50 students when it was created in 2015 to more than 350 students today. The bachelor s degree program has grown from about 30 students in 2017 to now more than 120 students.
