Jill Biden is a Jersey Girl by birth and at heart.
While she mostly grew up outside of Philadelphia, she also lays claim South Jersey roots, having been born in Hammonton during a weekend visit to her grandparents house and spent much of her childhood in the state s southern counties. (The First Lady also lived for two years while a grade schooler in Mahwah, Bergen County.)
First Lady Jill Biden, who turns 70 on June 3, even identifies herself as “a Hammonton girl,” which is what she told a local paper during an interview there last year while visiting as the former Second Lady of the United States in July.
