YOUNGSTOWN A Mahoning County grand jury has indicted Gregory D. Richardson II, 36, in the Dec. 22, 2020, shooting death of Jolanda Murry, 27, as she was riding in a car on Halleck Street on the North Side.
Richardson is indicted on aggravated murder with three gun specifications that could add additional prison time to his sentence if convicted.
He is also indicted on two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm and one of criminal damaging or endangering.
Police said the shooting happened about 5:30 a.m. between Logan Avenue and Elm Streets. She died several days later at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
