Embden man faces charges after being injured in motorcycle crash, police say

An Embden man is expected to face criminal charges after being hospitalized with injuries sustained during an apparent motorcycle crash Saturday in Madison, police said.
Somerset County Chief Deputy Michael Mitchell said Monday that the agency received the report around 7:37 a.m. of a motorcyclist who had apparently driven off the road and struck a tree. A pedestrian came upon the crash, which happened Saturday on Preble Avenue near the intersection of Murphy Lane, Mitchell said, describing a very sharp corner in the area.
