Last week, officials from the Quad Cities River Bandits announced that individual game tickets for the 2021 season went on sale on Friday. On Thursday in a press release, officials also announced their 2021 promotion schedule. This year s promotional schedule is going to be jammed pack with fun, fireworks, and a ton of giveaways.
The beer is a double IPA called G-man.
It was made in honor of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 57.
On Saturday, OBBC will present the barrel to the organization.
The barrel has signatures from active duty and former law enforcement members from many different places.
âWhen someone came to into the brewery, if they were active duty or former law enforcement, I would have them sign the barrel,â said Dave Heller, owner of OBBC.
The 53-gallon barrel will be donated to the FOP 57 lodge, and half the proceeds of the beer sales will also go back to the organization.

DAVENPORT, Iowa A new suggestion made by Governor Reynolds may expand vaccination sites across Iowa.
Now, Modern Woodmen Park and other outdoor sites could be used for more than warm weather activities.
The Governor suggested using these popular outdoor sites, such as farmers markets and baseball stadiums, to host vaccination clinics.
“We re just looking for unique ways that we can go to where Iowans are gathering and have a mobile clinic there,” Governor Reynolds said.
Owner of the team River Bandits, Dave Heller said he is all for the idea.

The idea has long been a refrain for both proponents and critics of extra-innings baseball, though often voiced with tongue in cheek: instead of drawing out contests to 10 or 12 or 17 wearying innings, or starting each extra frame with a runner on second base, why not just settle the matter via a home run derby? This year, as the affiliated minor and independent leagues implement a variety of experimental rules, the Pioneer League will do just that. One North Carolina-based Democratic strategist said voting on an assault weapons ban would help fuel Republican arguments that the Biden administration is coming to take their guns.

“Republicans are already claiming that Democrats are trying to take people’s guns and have no respect for the Second Amendment,” said the strategist.
“It is a problem in all those states, in my mind,” the strategist said of the debate on gun control measures. “The question which is going to determine 2022 is: Is it going to be enough to get those Trump voters out to vote?”
