unko was recently commissioned by international juggernaut Epic Games, maker of the realtime gaming engine Unreal Engine, to create a 5-minute short film as part of the nationwide Unreal Engine Short Film Challenge.
Shot in a single day with the support of Screen NSW and Epic Games, Weather Girl has been named as one of the Top 5 films in the Australia wide competition.
Given a mere six weeks to write, prepare, film and post-produce, unko producer Belinda Dean and director Stef Smith turned to creative technology company VANDAL to assist with Unreal Engine’s virtual production technology.

After being fired from her job at the height of 2020 f ckery, Lucinda ‘@froomes’ Froomes Price proceeded to build her company (Froomesworld) from the ground up. And for this collab the prolific she-E-O / Instagram baddie / writer / comedian / genuinely delightful human with a passion for slash/ing simply manifested two of the most successful Australian artists of the last few years on to her track.

Flume and G Flip have teamed up for an unlikely collaboration, working together on ‘Froomesworld’, the debut track of Australian Instagram personality @frooomes and we’re into it.
The track, which sits at just over a minute, features G Flip on the chorus and Flume on production, with the latter having a bit of spare time recently in hotel quarantine, after arriving home in Sydney from LA.
