Protect farmers
It’s nice that the legislature protected laborers for 60-hour weeks. Most workers try to work 40-hour weeks.
Let s get this nonsense straightened out right now! The Farm Laborers Fair Act needs to be in line with a realistic schedule. This is very physical, strenuous work.
Anywhere else, if a non-management employee works 40 hours, they get overtime. Do not forget that these are the wonderful people who bring our food so we can bring it to our table.
Get it together, Congress and New York legislature.
