Their constitutional right to bear arms.
The event, 2A Day, featured music, vendors and speeches from current and prospective politicians about the U.S. Constitution, the Second Amendment and support for former President Donald Trump. 2A Day, which refers to the Second Amendment, was hosted by 2A Patriot, a Michigan-based organization dedicated to protecting citizens Second Amendment rights. Livingston County residents formed the group just over a year ago, but membership has grown across the state.
Dave Pike, a Hamburg Township resident and 2A Patriot member, said this was the first 2A Day, but the group hopes to make it a yearly tradition.

This native New Yorker made his debut as a professional musician aged 14, playing the vibes in a small combo led by legendary jazz bandleader Paul Whiteman before joining drummer Buddy Rich’s band, where he stayed between 1956 and 1963. After that, Mainieri began a solo career, playing in a decidedly hard bop vein, but by the late 60s, he was experimenting with jazz-rock while pioneering an electric-powered instrument called a synth-vibe. After years of investments into upgrading Breeze Park in Craig, the city received recognition from the Colorado Lottery April 21, earning one of 11 Starburst Awards for the fiscal year of 2021.
The Colorado Lottery’s Starburst Awards recognize excellence in the use of Lottery funds for community and conservation projects, according to a press release from the lottery.
In 2015, the city of Craig officially broke ground on the Breeze Park Phase I project, which included significant improvements to the park’s amenities and accessibility.
