Andy Beshear announced 655 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 and six additional deaths on Thursday afternoon. Kentucky is reporting that 447,582 residents have tested positive since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. The positivity rate currently stands at 3.51% statewide. As of Thursday, 6,548 people have died across the commonwealth due to complications with COVID-19.

Andy Beshear announced 710 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday afternoon. Kentucky is reporting that 446,929 residents have tested positive since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. Of the newly reported cases, 24 are in Henderson County, 22 are in Daviess County, seven are in Ohio County and one new case was in Union County. Three of the new deaths were residents of Daviess County and one resident of Ohio County. Officials say two of those deaths are being reported from the state audit of death certificates. Out of the 21,685 reported COVID-19 cases in the district, we’re told 19,416 people have recovered.

Of the newly reported cases, health officials say 25 are in Daviess County, four in Ohio County, three in Hancock County, one in Henderson, Union and Webster counties. Out of the 21,595 reported COVID-19 cases in the district, we’re told 19,362 people have recovered. The Muhlenberg County Health Department reported one new COVID-19 case on Saturday. This brings the countywide number to 2,902 total cases. Out of these reported cases, 2,812 residents have fully recovered.
